How it all started

Here's the story of how His notes of Love started. When I was in high school my dad would text me little notes of encouragement when he thought of them. They would be a verse or two and then a little personal encouragement about those verses. They meant so much to me that I started a little mini blog that lasted all of like 3 months until I got to college and got busy with a lot of other things. But this blog I named His notes of Love because it was notes from my dad that reminded me of his love for me AND it reminded me of God's love for me too.

But God was starting a work in my heart then and it's led me to today. God kept bringing up the desire to share what I've been learning & share my story. I kept telling myself "who am I to share, I'm so young still" or "you can't even write properly" or hearing lies brought up from the devil of not being good enough to share my story, or what will people think of me, or what if you fail at it. We are in a battle and Satan is going to try to do everything he can to stop God's Word from going forward.

I was sitting in church the other week and felt convicted yet again to share & I had tears in my eyes because another excuse came to mind. I told God "ok, give me the words to speak" and that was it. I was no longer going to sit on the sidelines thinking of the next step. I was going to find time to make it happen and I was going to trust Him to give me the words to speak. Even if the words were filled with run on sentences and improper English... I'm ok with it.

So I'm "going scared". I'm stepping out in faith and sharing what God is teaching me. I am one breath ahead of someone else in this world & if I can impact one person, that's all I need.
